The Transformers franchise has the most blatant and egregious product placement of all time. The Films are 2-hour-long commercials. The first film had 64 instances of product placement, the second had 45, the third had 68, and the fourth had 55. When product placement is done well you don't even notice that you are being advertised to, but the transformers films have never done product placement well. I'm gonna go over the worst instances in these films but I encourage you to go back and watch one for a good laugh and to see why they deserve such poor ratings. The Beats Pill Few moments stick out in my memory about transformers 4 more than when they shoved a Bluetooth speaker in the audience's face during the introduction of the single most important plot point of the film.
